Central State Bank of Illinois: Redesign
Central State Bank contacted me when they had an upcoming emergency situation with their website. In addition to saving their then-current website, I designed a completely fresh and new site for them! Boasting a new high-resolution logo, modern design, and a bold new navigation system their site is informative, easy to navigate, stylish, and a quick customer favorite! Digital-Kristen (Ongoing: Personal Blog)
Digital-Kristen is a personal site combined with a small, yet full-featured e-commerce back end to sell craft goods. Utilizing WordPress for blogging, I installed WooCommerce and set it integration between the owner’s Etsy store, Square payments interface, and WooCommerce for inventory and sales tracking across all platforms. Credit card processing capabilities, Afterpay and Klarna, and a robust customer account interface are included. Recently added was a full API interface with Etsy to replace WooCommerce to simplify inventory tracking.
SCP: Journey
The SCP: Journey website is a wiki-style WordPress site where the author posts original fiction stories and content. Utilizing the popular blog platform, ShiShiye hopes to build content that will attract and keep like-minded visitors. The robust, full-featured wiki addon allows him the freedom to categorize, classify, and accept user comments, submissions, and other content through a secured channel. Featuring custom graphics, custom-created pages, and navigation menus, ShiShiye can maintain the site himself.
Zen Warrior Armory Website
Zen Warrior Armory is a local company that has been serving the area for over 25 years! They provide custom handmade garments, swords, and armor to the SCA, HEMA, Stunt, and LARP communities, both locally and internationally.
This is a work in progress! The links here lead to my development area where you can see progress live in real-time as their site is built from scratch. When completed, this dev site will be transferred to their live servers under their own domain name.

Central State Bank of Illinois
Central State Bank of Illinois had an unexpected emergency situation with a server transition. I was brought in to rebuild the entire site on a new server. This involved creating a completely custom theme, migrating database information, migrating images, backing up page data, and rebuilding the site and all of its pages on the new server. As an emergency situation, I completed the initial transition work in one day (I worked more than a double shift that day!). Once the initial transition work was finished, I was able to take a little more time to rework the design on each of the pages, setting up the menu and navigation. Finally, I ensured the site was mobile-compatible.
